In ICICI's
online
trading system, a portfolio tracker is one place where you may be glued to see the
prospects and the performance of your share holdings in real time during
market days.
 When you buy a
share, portfolio is not immediately updated with that info. However, overnight
they update the portfolio automatically and the next day you can see that the purchase you
made and the selling you have done has been updated on the portfolio.
You can also do this update manually after trading hours from 'trade book'
menu item.
You can also do other portfolio updates if required. However since the bank does it themselves, it
is better you don't do it yourself unless in case of bonus share issues,
split etc where normally automatic updates by the trading system does not
take care.
In the portfolio tracker, you can
see for yourself sector wise classification of the shares you have purchased.
Details
like its number, value when it was bought, current market value etc can
be easily seen from one single page. This is
where you take a look at your fortunes changing for the good and bad in real
time.
