paradise on earth. The Word Kashmir has been derived from a persian world
'cash meer' which means difficult to rule. From Mughal rulers to Dogras

Kashmir

station Gulmarg, popularly known as "the meadow of flowers" is named as

small village in its lap has an ancient monument and people around it has
some specialty to offer to the tourists. The Jammu and Kashmir Govt. has
decided to develop some more beautiful places like Doodpather, Bungas ( a
tiny village which falls in District Baramulla) and offer them as top
destinations in the global market.
Kashmir receives heavy snow fall from 10th December to mid march. The
hill stations like Gulamarg, Phalgam and Snowmarg receives heavy snow till
end mid April. The skiing slopes in Gulmarg are uncomparable and enjoyable
for sky riders. The best slopes are known as highland slope, 85 slope,
monkey slope, and baby slope. The Kashmir handicrafts are unique in nature.
The paper machie and wood carving are famous and distinct. In short,
visiting Kashmir valley is an unforgettable experience.
