Flowers,
butterflies, lakes and sky blend with human lives and beat of universal
music may be far beyond layman concept. But the visual treat of most of
the paintings can easily magnetize the spectator. She has created a
sublime and striking world by making perfect mix of colors and unique
hallucination.
She says her
paintings have nothing to say as a response to contemporary issues or
vice verse, but there is a message that is based with constructive view
of life.
Get prepared to
face any challenge is the important thing-she underscores.
“All the movements
of this universe have a rhythm; a blend of unified vibration”-says
Rosaline.
Cosmic Symphony is
the best sample of her artistic vision of universal rhythm.
A peacock looks
back even at the playing of a string- less instrument. An intuition of
life bang is omnipresent everywhere.
Mythopoeia, as in
the name stands for myth and fantasy. In a serene mood in the night,
blue lotus has blown. Fairies are appeared on the scene with music and
beauty. All the surroundings keep you filling with evergreen thought of
optimism.
Rosaline is one of
the core group members of Marie Eugenie Oncology Care, Kozhikode (MEOCK),
a unit of Marie Eugenie Centre for Human Development.
MEOCK stands for
the well being of cancer patients by uplifting them through awareness
programs and sharing of information on cancer that would be beneficial
in the treatment of cancer. MEOCK also provides the necessary
interactive support required.
According to her,
open discussion and transparent communication can help people to fight
cancer in a systematic manner and survive better than ever mainly
because there are best advanced treatments available today.
Rosaline has been
passionate to colors and drawings since early age. She had drawn as many
as pencil drawings she can, during her school days. But she didn’t
participate in competitions or demonstrate those works. Later she turned
to fabric paintings and it was a commercial success thanks to her
textile business. Even Rosaline is an accountant by profession; she
turned to her own business and continued there until she was diagnosed
with breast cancer in 2007. She had undergone treatment including
lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation until 2008.
She says that fear
of cancer never helps the patients; but deviating from those fearful
thoughts and engage in the interested areas would help overcome the
dreadful situation. Rosaline’s painting exhibition will conclude on 6th
May, 2011.
