dream final. Indian aggressive boys have arrived in style. Indians all over
the world have been celebrating the victory.
Team India fought well and won over Pakistan in the final of maiden ICC
Twenty20 Championship for five runs. Indian dream had skyrocketed when they
celebrated a great win over Aussies in the semi. They could maintain the art
and craft of the past games in this historic final. Wanderers in
Johannesburg witnessed historical and emotional moments when India conquered
the whole world.
| Recently appointed captain of the one-day
side, Mahindra Singh Dhoni, can be proud of his cool-hearted team
leadership. Many of the sports critiques praise this captain for
maintaining good balance of the team without any extra pressure.
Good team spirit and hard work of the Indian team was
visible throughout the game. Semi-final with Australia was memorable.
Indian team made wonders including new players like Sreesanth. (There
was a slight dampener on the triumph when Sreesanth was fined 25 percent
of his match fee for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during the game).

Any triumph over
Pakistan is an emotional one also because both are considered to be
traditional enemies. Cricket fans in Kerala had sleepless night
yesterday.
In Kozhikode many of the cricket fans stood before TV showrooms to watch
the dream final. They waited till the end breathlessly. Despite fasting
in this holy Ramdan, cricket fans many didn’t compromise on watching
their favorite game.
When Sreesanth captured Pak in the last ball, fans excitement reached
its zenith. With slogans and songs, they started celebration. Crackers
and bands were ready to add energy to the great victory. With Indian
national flag, they marched all over the city. Many forgot to sleep with
match discussion and players performance.
Some criticized Sreesanth for breaching the code of conduct while some
others stood for him and said that Sreesanth’s actions was the result of
real sports enthusiasm and nothing more. In gulf countries also Indians
