Amidst many controversies and anxieties, the
unique Malayalam superstar Bharath Mohan Lal is going to perform most risky
magic, fire escape, (Burning Illusion) in Thiruvananthapuram on 27th
April.
Some magicians, organizations, intellectuals, film
personalities came in support and against Lal performing the most
adventurous act. Lal has been undergoing strenuous training for this since
two years under the guidance of famous magician Gopinath Muthukad.
Lal has proved his abilities in classical Dance, Music,
Kathakali etc in addition to spontaneous acting. Magic has been his dream
project and he has emerged to perform at last.
Lal is one such who never look back until he accomplishes
his goal once he set it.
"He is an extraordinarily talented artist ready to perform
every adventurous act in films."- says Innocent, famous Malayalam actor and
president of Amma, Association of Malayalam Movie Artists. As an
organization we have nothing to do with Lal's decision. But as a friend I
had tried to warn Lal against this dangerous venture. But he is determined
to do so. Lal informed me there was no need to be anxious about his safety.”
said Innocent.
Magician Samraj has requested Mohanlal to call off from
this adventure. He held a press conference to announce his protest against
Lal's decision. He claimed that 'Burning Illusion' was very dangerous act
and even a second's mistake on the part of assistant magician might lead to
death. He pointed out the instance of a tragic burnt to death accident of a
magician named Malayil Masthan while presenting this act.
Muthukad is fully confident of Lal's abilities to perform
this act successfully. He claimed Lal would perform this act out of harm's
way.
Meanwhile there are rumors that Lal is going to reconsider his decision to
perform 'burning illusion' due to high pressure from his fans association.
There is also a non-confirmed report that MohanLal’s fans
association and Artists Association has requested him in person to avoid the
adventure.
