Kozhikode : As part of Ragadeepam’s Ninth Anniversary
Celebrations, Saleel Chaudhury Musical Evening will be organized at
Kozhikode Town Hall on 15th May, 2011.There will be film song
gala, open to people above 45 years. A separate contest will be there for
ladies and gents. Songs are restricted to that of Saleel Chauduri and
duration is four minutes starts from 2.30 pm.
Ragdeepam, the children’s musical club
anniversary celebrations will begin on 14 th May. Famous Kannada playback
singer Srikanth Kammath will inaugurate the program at 5.30 pm.
Raga Sandhya, a musical performance by
Ragadeepam students will commence at 6.30 onwards. Anand S.Kanth is the
conductor of the children’s orchestra directed by L.Sasikanth.
A film song contest for students will be held on 15th
at 9.30 am onwards. U.P, H.S and Plus Two students can participate in the
event and select Malayalam, Tamil or Hindi film songs.
The first prize winners will be provided a chance to
perform in the next anniversary celebration of Ragadeepam.
A performance of Kuyil Band also will be there on May
15th 7p.m onwards.
