The MOU was signed by Prof. Debashis Chatterjee,
Director of IIM Kozhikode and Prof. Dr. Terrence Motiuk, Vice Chancellor of
Abu Dhabi University. Prof. Nandakumar M K, Chairman International
Exchange at the IIM, Prof. Jacob Chacko, Dean College of Business, ADU and
Jame E Mackin, Provost, ADU were present on the occasion.

This will open opportunity to both the institutions to
involve in student exchange and research programs in management education.
Post Graduate Student Exchange, Faculty Exchange, Dual degree program
Research Conference and Doctoral Student Colloquiums, Faculty Research
Fellows are the major high lights of the MOU.
As per the accord, both institutions will identify students interested to
participate in the student exchange program which may include courses as
well as internship opportunities. Both institutions will seek opportunities
to exchange faculty members in respect of each individual case of faculty
exchange.
These institutions will explore the possibility of offering dual degree
programs. The development of a yearly research Conference and doctoral
student colloquium to facilitate joint research and discussions between
students and faculty members also will be considered. It is the intention to
expand participation to doctoral students and faculty from other reputable
institutions. Both parties will consider the development of the faculty
research fellows program whereby faculty members will be eligible to be
members of doctoral committees of students at both institutions.
It gives an opportunity for IIM Kozhikode to enter the Middle East
Education Sector for the first time and offer its education programs in the
Middle Eastern region. Similarly this agreement provides Abu Dhabi
University to partner with one of the top business schools in India which
will result in an improvement of the quality of teaching and research at the
university. Furthermore, with this MOU, ADU would be able to focus more on
