Police administration in deep waters.

Kozhikode: Investigation has begun in connection with alleged sex racket at POLICE quarters near Mananchira. Kasaba circle inspector P. Viswambaran is enquiring the case. He has questioned a constable, Pradeep who had handed over quarters to strangers. In the preliminary investigation police have reached the conclusion that many strangers had come to quarters in the late night of last week. Another police quarters staff Moly has been suspended in connection with the case along with Manoj. 

Five girl students came to the quarters pretending to be for a campaign study. But when the strangers came to quarters in vehicles in the night, neighbouring residents noticed and informed the police. In this case one serial actress also was included. The police will question all witness in the case. However police have a fear that relatives of certain police personnel have link with this case. Some are directly included in the case. It is a strange case in the history of Kerala police, a quarters being misused for immoral acts, just near the police commissioner office haunts the district police administration. If the allegation turned to be correct many senior police officials would have to face disciplinary action.
