Quran seminar:
The international Quran seminar, scheduled to be held from December 17 under the auspices of department of Arabic, University of Calicut, has been postponed. New dates will be announced later. 

BTech examinations:
Last date for applying to appear for seventh semester BTech new scheme (regular) and first and second semester new scheme (supplementary) examinations is December 15 (without fine) and December 20 (with fine of Rs.25), according to a Kannur University release.  The seventh semester BTech new scheme (regular) examination and the second and third semester BTech new scheme (supplementary) would begin on January 7 and 6, 2004 respectively, it said. 

Refresher course:
Applications have been invited from physical education teachers in colleges interested in participating in a refresher course being conducted by the Physical Education Department of the Annamalai University with the assistance of the UGC.  The course will begin on December 22.  Application forms will be available from the Students Services Director who is holding the charge of the university’s Physical Education Director, it said.
