M. S. Menon Endowment speech : This year’s Prof. M. S. Menon Endowment Speech will be held on October 20 at the seminar complex at Calicut University. Indian Study Centre (Paris) chief Dr. Francis Zimmerman will deliver a lecture on Thakazhi’s novel ‘Kayar’.

Seminar on Chanakya’s Arthasasthram : The Sanskrit Department of the Calicut University will organise an international seminar on ‘Arthasasthram – A New Understanding’ on October 18 and 19.

Indian Study Centre (Paris) chief Dr. Francis Zimmerman will inaugurate the seminar. Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. C. Gopinathan Pillai will preside over the seminar.

Prof. M. G. S. Narayanan will deliver the keynote address. Prof. Rajan Gurukkal will deliver the valedictory speech.
 
MSc Chemistry practical : The fourth semester MSc Chemistry practical examination of the Calicut University will begin on October 24. detailed time table will be available at the examination centre.

MSc Computer Science: The third semester MSc Computer Science examination of the Calicut University will begin on November 7 at the Hindi Department on the university campus. Time of examinations: 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. detailed time table will be available at examination centres.

Hindi PG Diploma examination: Calicut University’s Hindi Translation and Secretarial Practice PG Diploma examination will begin on November 7 at the Hindi Department of the varsity. Time of examination: 9.30 to 12.30. A detailed timetable can be had from the examination centres.
