Self Financing MSc Courses:
Kozhikode: Calicut University has invited application for self-financing MSc course.
Departments: Medical Bio-Chemistry (four semesters) Duration - 2 years. Total seats: 20. Qualification: Four Year BSc Medical Bio - Chemistry degree with 50% marks. If eligible candidates are not available, those who secured 50 p.c marks in three year BSc Bio-Chemistry / BSc Chemistry degree examinations will be considered. But the duration of course should be three years.

Food Science and Technology (Duration: 2 Years):
Total seats: 20
Qualification: Food and Technology Degree with 50 p.c mark. 50% seats are reserved for this group. Admission will be based on the marks. No entrance test for Food Science and Technology BSc degree holders.

The selection for the remaining seats is based on an entrance test. The test subject will be consisted of Physics, Chemistry, Microbiology; Bio-Chemistry. The minimum mark for get through the entrance examination is 40 p.c

Medical Laboratory Technology:
(Duration: 2 years), Total seats: 25.
Qualification: Pass in Four years BSc Medical Laboratory Technology. If the applicants are not available, three years BSc (MLT) or students with 50 p.c marks in two years MLT Diploma and BSc with at least five years experience from government approved medical laboratory.

Medical Microbiology (Duration: two years):
Total seats: 20, Four semesters.
Qualification: Four year BSc Medical Microbiology Degree with 50% marks. If the eligible candidates are not available, three year BSc degree holders with 50% marks in Microbiology, Botany, and Zoology will be considered. They should have undergone the course for three years.

Relaxation will be available for the SC/ST and other classes.

Calicut students will get 5 point in addition. Applicants residing in the University limit will get 15 p.c nativity preferences.
