CalicutNet is born out of the love for our land. We are expatriate Indians living in the United Arab Emirates. The idea first dawned in the form of vadakara.com and the hosting begun early 1999. However, soon we realised that we must expand it to reach out to a larger audience and we needed to move to the capital of erstwhile Malabar. Hence calicutnet.com in its first incarnation was made.
