Bus:

Private buses from Bekal and Mangalore leave from the Municipal bus stand near the Hotel City Tower.

Train:

The train station is a couple of  kilometers south of the town centre. Kasaragod is on the main north-south line. It only takes one to 11/2  hours to get from Kasaragod to Mangalore by express train.
