Introduction and main subject of writing:

Employment will be to write on current affairs, news items, other stories, and articles of general interest for the website. Samples of which can be seen in www.calicutnet.com/news and www.calicutnet.com/articles.

We are also open to other ideas for good content development such as in the sections of www.calicutnet.com/yourpc and www.calicutnet.com/it and www.calicutnet.com/travel. 

Scope of assignment:

If you are employed, you need not relinquish the current position as this is neither a full time assignment nor an office will be available for work. You will have to prepare the item on your own and e-mail it to us. We are not worried about the time sensitiveness of items as we are not trying to replace a regular newspaper website nor we are capable of that at this stage.

Preparing the item and its uniqueness:

We will be seriously concerned about the unique nature of the item. Quality and quantity of content / news / article you feed to us will be seriously monitored.

Items can be prepared in MS Word format and e-mailed to the webmaster. Compensation can be fixed on a monthly contract basis and depending upon the number of stories and its quality.
